Harajuku Girls at Macy’s Passport

The new season of Dancing With The Stars started last night.  Did you know that Rino was in a Macy’s DWTS routine called “Dancing Through The Decades” choreographed by Rich and Tone?  The performance, which aired in November 2008, showcases dance from the 1930s to the 1960s then the 1980s, with Rino as part of the Future section (starting at 5:55 in the video).  Here is a photo from Rino’s MySpace page:

The Harajuku Girls were also the featured performers at the Macy’s Passport event, where Fashion + Compassion Come Together.  Last week the event was held in San Francisco on September 16-17th and will be in Los Angeles September 24-25th.

Passport guests will enjoy cutting edge fashion, innovative performances and celebrity and designer appearances. A runway fashion show will feature the latest fall looks from designers Rachel Roy, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein along with American Rag, Levi’s, Tallia, Papi, and b.tempt’d by Wacoal. The Harajuku Girls will put on a high-energy dance performance directed by celebrity choreographer Brian Friedman.
